Days of Devon Delving

The first thing we did was to get a train to Exeter and check out the Roman city where I went to school.
There are many cool things to see here especially the Cathedral which has an amazingly huge organ (he he), tombs of some knights and beautiful stained glass windows. I used to be a chorister here when I was at school but I had a bladder infection and had to go to the toilet all the time so they kicked me out. That's an almost true story.

We had a pretty damn tasty lunch of Kaslet and SauerKraut at the Exeter Weihnachts Markt where Kylie sampled the mulled wine. She has since developed a pretty serious habit.

Next day we went absolutely mad out of our brains and went for a bike ride through the village (sometimes you just have to let go of those inhibitions).

This was really fun because Kylie likes to look at all the cottages and giggle about how funny they look plus we got to ride our bikes down the smugglers tunnel (not really much of a secret I have to admit) to a secluded beach. It was freezing, Kylie made me take my shirt off and we shouted at the top of our lungs. It was liberating and embarrassing in equal measures.

Hey kids- sounds like you've had some pretty crazy adventures so far- how was your christmas? We had a lovely night with Alli and Gareth, playing games and opening presents and eating... I got a digeredoo- which is totally rad! Then christmas day in Towoomba with Aunty Di, Uncle Steve, Kristen and Ben- that was pretty good- ate and drank way too much but we all had a nive relaxing day... But Stella pooped in the car on the way home... it was pretty sick... Luv Meg
